This is a great class for all levels of hand sewers but particularly good for beginners – you’ll be using English Paper Piecing as your method which is a very old and traditional form of patch working but in this workshop we are concentrating on the humble hexagon shape to make some fun sewing room accessories.

We will start with either a wrist pinnie or a slightly larger pin cushion (your choice) but if time allows you will have the option to make the alternate choice and/or scissor fobs – all using hexagons.

These projects are an excellent way to use up scraps and to “fussy cut” fun prints – they don’t even have to be for you – why not gift them to that crafty person in your life? Amber will assist you along the way with advice and tips.

You will need to bring with you your fabric choices – scraps are good and the maximum size you will need is approximately 4 inches square (more if fussy cutting.

All equipment and paper pieces will be supplied on the day but feel free to bring your own if this is a craft you already practise. Most supplies are available to purchase on the day if you want to continue at home and make more projects
